I'm not flexible, yoga is not for me. Is it? Yoga is a mind/body exercise. There is no better or "winning" way to do yoga; each pose has many ways to be correctly done. Flexibility is just one of the benefits of yoga.
What should I wear? Wear something comfortable and slightly stretchy on top and bottom. Anything made for working out, running or climbing is great but sweatpants, stretchy jeans, thick leggings or basketball shorts will all work perfectly!
I' m not sure if yoga is allowed by my religion? Yoga on the Prow is for everyone and is completely secular. Our focus is on cultivating physical strength and flexibility and healthy, effective ways of dealing with life's stressors.
But I'm a guy...? Then you are in good company! In fact many male (not to mention female) professional athletes do yoga since it's benefits; increased strength, flexibility and focus, improve performance in any sport.
